Past Charitable Activities
One of the objectives in our mission statement is to provide philanthropic opportunities for women in business. There is no shortage of need in the world and it is in our hearts to share with those in need in our own communities.

If you have any questions or suggestions for charitable activities that the BWIB might be able to help with, please contact us.

Below are some of the past charitable activities that the Batavia Women in Business has sponsored.

June 2009
we collected canned food items to donate to the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry. It's become a summer tradition.

Our first project was to collect gently used, like-new women's business clothing to donate to Working Wardrobe, a non-profit organization that helps get women back to work. Their mission is to promote economic self-sufficiency in women by providing business attire and referrals to local organizations that provide job training and placement services for women preparing to enter the job market.
